CHALLENGE:
A large concrete plant had a winding failure on a 4000 HP, 900 RPM Fan Motor. The repair was going to take approximately 4 weeks to get the motor back to the customer. The entire plant was shut down due to this failure. The customer informed Louis Allis that their down time cost was $35,000.00 per hour!
SOLUTION:
Louis Allis received the call from the customer on a Thursday afternoon. We had the motor in our inventory and in less than 20 hours the customer had flown in and witnessed the motor running at full voltage in our facility. The motor was sold with a full one year warranty under our “Factory Recertified Program”.
